Building the brand world behind the movement for OffMode
Three SEED branded posters on the street

The client

OffMode is a new community founded by Andrea Stefanelli and Sofia Bollini. Hailing from Milan, the pair have years of global experience building offline communities.

After seeing the appetite for more intentional, phone-free experiences overseas, they spotted an opportunity to bring that movement to Australia, starting in Sydney.

And the timing feels right. With 41% of Australians actively looking to digitally detox in 2026, OffMode is creating space for people to switch off and actually connect.

The brief

OffMode came to us with the foundations already sorted, including a clear business plan, brand strategy and verbal identity.

What they needed was a visual identity that could bring that thinking to life and connect with culturally tuned-in 25–35 year olds looking for healthier, more meaningful ways to spend their time offline.

The brand also needed enough personality to feel like a movement people could belong to, while giving Andrea and Sofia a flexible design system they could roll out across events, cities and eventually a much bigger global community.

In short, create something for success now that will work well into the future.

The approach

We started with creative benchmarking, exploring four visual territories across wellness, independent culture and adjacent creative fields to find a direction that felt human, social and culturally relevant.

Andrea and Sofia were drawn to the emblematic direction, inspired by the badges, patches and sticker-style marks long used by clubs, cultural institutions and community-led movements to signal belonging and shared identity.

From there, we developed three visual identity concepts that could turn OffMode’s existing strategy into something people could immediately recognise, connect with and want to be part of.

The creative

We built the OffMode identity around that familiar switch-off symbol, weaving it into a bold typographic logo system that could flex across different layouts, formats and cities.

Dark green and pale blue became the core colour pairing, supported by a broader palette of soft pastels and warm accents that gave the brand plenty of room to feel playful, expressive and alive.

To build the feeling of a club people could belong to, we also created a suite of custom emblems and graphic marks designed to work across events, merchandise, social content and city-specific applications.

The result was a visual world with enough energy to feel current, enough warmth to feel welcoming and enough flexibility to grow from one Sydney event into a community spanning multiple cities.

The roll out

With the identity locked, we turned the new visual system into a practical toolkit Andrea and Sofia could use from day one.

We created launch collateral including flyers, posters and bookmarks, then supplied editable Canva files so the team could keep adapting the system across future formats and events.

The final brand toolkit brought together the logo system, city lockups, colour palette, typography, iconography, emblems, backgrounds and usage guidelines, giving OffMode a clear set of building blocks for consistent rollout as the community grows.

The results

And off they went.

With the identity locked in, we rolled the new brand across everything OffMode needed to launch — from flyers, posters and bookmarks to city lockups, digital assets and editable social media post layouts.

The final toolkit brought together the logo system, colour palette, typography, iconography, emblems and usage guidelines, giving Andrea and Sofia everything they needed to keep building the brand as the community grows.

Proof that switching off can still look pretty switched on.

We helped OffMode turn switching off into something people want to show up for.

Working with Young Folks was such an important part of bringing OffMode to life. From the beginning, they understood that we weren’t simply creating events, we were trying to build a feeling, a movement and a community. They translated that into a brand that feels distinctive, warm and completely true to us, while giving us a strong and flexible identity that can grow with OffMode.
