Social enterprise and certified B Corp Code Like A Girl is on a mission to empower and educate women, non-binary folks, and minority communities to shape the future of tech. Code Like A Girl provides them with the confidence, tools, knowledge, and support to thrive in the world of coding.
The brief
Despite offering valuable coding programs, Code Like A Girl grappled with reaching their target audience effectively and showcasing the benefits of their courses. In order to drive enrolments in their range of beginner-friendly coding courses, Code Like A Girl wanted to grow brand awareness, reach prospective students, and showcase the comprehensive offering and benefits of their coding programs.
The solution
We produced a series of engaging videos featuring insights from CEO Ally Watson and frontend developer and tutor Lara Salameh, as well as real-life experiences shared by past students and interns.
Our team took charge of the entire video production process, from storyboarding to scripting, filming, and post-production. Collaborating closely with Code Like A Girl, we crafted scripts that highlighted the unique aspects of their coding courses and the impact of their programs. The resulting video series became the cornerstone of their outreach strategy, strategically placed on the website, YouTube, social media platforms, and within digital advertising campaigns.
We activated the campaign across all Meta placements including Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and native ads to amplify reach, increase awareness, boost website traffic, and drive new course registrations from key audiences.
