
The client
Established in 1999, Rainforest Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation that protects and restores rainforests in the Daintree. A large part of this important work is achieved with the Rainforest Rescue buy-back program, through which more than 150 hectares of Australian rainforest — mostly zoned for development — have been purchased for conservation.
The brief
Raising awareness about the urgent need to protect rainforests is crucial, as these fragile ecosystems play a critical role in combating climate change, storing 30% of the world’s CO2 emissions. Rainforest Rescue teamed up with compostable packaging maker BioPak with a goal to share this message in an engaging and attention-grabbing way and reach a wide audience to support their mission.
The solution
We provided a comprehensive campaign strategy for Rainforest Rescue’s collaboration with BioPak, aptly named Voices for the Rainforest.
For the campaign creative, 18 global influencers, including athletes, fashion designers, and artists, created designs and heartfelt messages for the project. The resulting artwork was then published on compostable BioPak Art Series cups, directing consumers to a fundraiser page to support Rainforest Rescue’s restoration efforts.
We mapped out the campaign channels and tailored the messaging and creative to suit each platform and maximise exposure. We also provided an implementation roadmap for Rainforest Rescue and BioPak to follow when launching and running the campaign. This roadmap included detailed steps for content distribution, timing, and engagement tactics to ensure the project’s success.


The outcome
Combining high-profile ambassadors with beautiful, eye-catching artwork, the campaign successfully raised awareness about the critical role of rainforests in fighting climate change. The creative designs and messages resonated with a global audience, gathering donations and support for Rainforest Rescue’s mission.



Voices for the Rainforest drove donations for Rainforest Rescue’s restoration work and demonstrated the power of collaboration and creative storytelling in environmental advocacy.
