Cracking the code: high-impact brand storytelling videos for Code Like a Girl
The client: Social enterprise Code Like A Girl is on a mission to empower girls and women by providing them with the confidence, tools, knowledge, and support to thrive in the world of coding.
The challenge: In order to drive enrolments in their range of beginner-friendly coding courses, Code Like A Girl was seeking to build brand awareness, reach prospective students and showcase the comprehensive offering available within their coding programs.
The solution: We produced a series of engaging videos featuring key stakeholders from Code Like A Girl. The lineup included insights from CEO Ally Watson, frontend developer and tutor Lara Salameh, and real-life experiences shared by past students and interns.
Our team took charge of the entire video production process, from scripting to storyboarding, filming, and post-production. The resulting video series became a cornerstone of Code Like A Girl’s outreach strategy, strategically placed on the website, YouTube, social media platforms, and within digital advertising campaigns.
The video series became a powerful tool in bridging the awareness gap about Code Like A Girl’s beginner-friendly coding courses. Prospective students gained a firsthand understanding of the supportive learning environment and the success stories of those who had flourished within the Code Like A Girl community.
